Software for security system service
Ticket workflow automation and a fully integrated point of sale, in one system.
Alarm and camera work is done at the customer's site, at a time they have agreed, and often for a business that wants an invoice. On Pro, Spekco books the visit, tells the site when the technician is on the way, and sends the invoice with a link to pay.

Workflow automation
You do the repair. The ticket does the telling.
One visit, from the phone call to the payment. No message typed.
- On a long repair, Spekco can send progress updates by itself, so the customer does not have to call and ask.
- Finish a repair now and schedule the status change: the ticket moves, and the customer is told, at the time you choose.
- Every notification is included on every plan. There is no charge per message.
- On Pro, the follow-up runs too: a message after the repair, a reminder when service is due, and an invitation to customers who have not been back.
1. You book the visit from your Camera Replacement template
The ticket fills in with its parts, labor, checklist and trip fee. The customer is sent the time and asked to confirm it.
2. The day before, you do nothing
The customer is reminded of the visit.
3. The technician taps On my way
The customer is told who is coming and when.
4. You send the estimate
They approve it online, and the approval is recorded on the ticket.
5. You send the invoice
They pay online from the link in it, and are emailed a receipt.
Booking a visit uses dispatch, which is on Pro.
Integrated point of sale
One register for the repair and the sale
A camera repair and a new power supply are one sale, on one receipt.
- The repair is paid at the same register that sells your products. There is no second system, and nothing is typed twice.
- A part fitted on a repair and a product sold at the counter come off the same stock count.
- From the ticket, one button takes you to the register with the balance already in the sale.
- When the work is done at the customer's address, the invoice goes to them with a link, and they pay online. Nobody drives back to collect.
Cameras, sensors, batteries and cable sell from the same register, and come off the same stock, as the ones you fit.
The register is on every plan. How the register works →
The jobs you go out to

What to ask on the phone
Whatever you use to run your business, find these out before anyone sets off.
- The site's address, and who to ask for
- The panel or recorder: brand and model
- How many cameras, sensors or doors
- What fails, and when
- What you need to reach it: a ladder, the attic, a locked room
- The hours you may work there
How a job runs in Spekco
Step 1
A visit the site has confirmed
On Pro, book the job as a Dispatch visit with the site's address. The contact is asked to confirm the time and reminded the day before, so nobody drives to a locked building.
Step 2
Estimate first, for the owner to approve
Send parts and labor as an estimate by email. Whoever pays approves it online, and the approval is on the ticket with the time it was given.
Step 3
An invoice, with a link to pay
Send the invoice when the work is done. It carries a link to pay online, and the payment is recorded against the ticket when it clears.
Pickup, delivery and dispatch
For the work that does not walk in the door.
Pickup
You collect the item from the customer's address. Spekco checks the address against your service radius and adds the fee to the ticket, flat or per mile.
Delivery
The repaired item goes back to the customer's door in a delivery window you set. The customer can choose the time from a link.
Dispatch
A technician goes to the customer, for a trip fee you set. The customer is asked to confirm the visit, reminded the day before, and told when the technician is on the way, with an arrival time.
All three are on Pro, and each is a setting you turn on for the locations that offer it.
On every plan
- Service tickets and workflow
- Point of sale register
- Customer portal with ticket tracking
- Online estimate approval and invoice payment
- Parts and inventory
- Automated email notifications
The plan that usually fits
Pro, $59.99 a month
Work done on site needs dispatch, which is on Pro: $59.99 a month, with 25 staff accounts, up to 5 locations and 250 tickets a month included.
What it does not do
Spekco does not monitor an alarm, and it does not bill a monitoring contract every month. It is for the repair and the installation.
Questions
- Can the customer approve the work without being on site?
- Yes. The estimate is emailed, and they approve or decline it online.
- Can I see which visits have nobody assigned?
- On Pro, yes. The schedule filters visits by technician and counts the ones with nobody assigned.
- Can I record what is installed at each site?
- Yes. Add fields for the panel, the recorder and the camera count. They stay on the ticket and the customer's record.
