Software for appliance repair businesses
Ticket workflow automation and a fully integrated point of sale, in one system.
Appliance repair happens in the customer's kitchen, and their first question is when you will arrive. On Pro, Spekco books the visit, asks the customer to confirm it, and tells them when the technician is on the way.

Workflow automation
You do the repair. The ticket does the telling.
One visit, from the phone call to the payment. No message typed.
- On a long repair, Spekco can send progress updates by itself, so the customer does not have to call and ask.
- Finish a repair now and schedule the status change: the ticket moves, and the customer is told, at the time you choose.
- Every notification is included on every plan. There is no charge per message.
- On Pro, the follow-up runs too: a message after the repair, a reminder when service is due, and an invitation to customers who have not been back.
1. You book the visit from your Dryer Repair template
The ticket fills in with its parts, labor, checklist and trip fee. The customer is sent the time and asked to confirm it.
2. The day before, you do nothing
The customer is reminded of the visit.
3. The technician taps On my way
The customer is told who is coming and when.
4. You send the estimate
They approve it online, and the approval is recorded on the ticket.
5. You send the invoice
They pay online from the link in it, and are emailed a receipt.
Booking a visit uses dispatch, which is on Pro.
Integrated point of sale
One register for the repair and the sale
A service call and a water filter are one sale, on one receipt.
- The repair is paid at the same register that sells your products. There is no second system, and nothing is typed twice.
- A part fitted on a repair and a product sold at the counter come off the same stock count.
- From the ticket, one button takes you to the register with the balance already in the sale.
- When the work is done at the customer's address, the invoice goes to them with a link, and they pay online. Nobody drives back to collect.
Filters, hoses, belts and igniters sell from the same register as the repair, for customers who come to your counter.
The register is on every plan. How the register works →

What to ask on the phone
Whatever you use to run your business, find these out before anyone sets off.
- The address, and how to get in: gate code, parking, stairs
- Brand, model and serial number, read from the label
- What it does wrong, and any error code on the display
- How old it is, and whether it is under warranty
- Gas or electric
- Who will be home, and the number to reach them on
How a job runs in Spekco
Step 1
Book the visit while they are on the phone
On Pro, choose Dispatch on a new ticket, enter the address and pick a window. The trip fee is added for you, flat or per mile, and the customer is asked to confirm the time.
Step 2
Arrive with the part
Write the model and the symptom on the ticket at booking and add the part you expect to fit. It comes off your stock, and you are warned when that part runs low.
Step 3
Quote in the kitchen, in writing
Send the estimate by email from where you are standing. The customer approves it online, and the approval is on the ticket before you open the machine.
Pickup, delivery and dispatch
For the work that does not walk in the door.
Pickup
You collect the item from the customer's address. Spekco checks the address against your service radius and adds the fee to the ticket, flat or per mile.
Delivery
The repaired item goes back to the customer's door in a delivery window you set. The customer can choose the time from a link.
Dispatch
A technician goes to the customer, for a trip fee you set. The customer is asked to confirm the visit, reminded the day before, and told when the technician is on the way, with an arrival time.
All three are on Pro, and each is a setting you turn on for the locations that offer it.
On every plan
- Service tickets and workflow
- Point of sale register
- Customer portal with ticket tracking
- Online estimate approval and invoice payment
- Parts and inventory
- Automated email notifications
The plan that usually fits
Pro, $59.99 a month
A business that goes to the customer needs dispatch, which is on Pro: $59.99 a month, with 25 staff accounts, 250 tickets a month included, and text messages to customers.
What it does not do
Spekco does not plan a route or show a technician on a map. The technician chooses the arrival time when they set off.
Questions
- Can I charge a trip fee?
- On Pro, yes. Dispatch adds the fee to the ticket, flat or per mile from the location the technician leaves from.
- Is the customer told when the technician is on the way?
- On Pro, yes. The technician taps On my way and picks an arrival time, and the customer gets a text message and an email.
- Can customers bring a small appliance to the shop instead?
- Yes. A drop-off is an ordinary ticket, on every plan, and the customer is emailed when it is ready.
